14 TDP MLAs were suspended from the Andhra Pradesh Assembly on Thursday. On the other hand, three MLAs from TDP were suspended till the end of these meetings.

AP assembly meetings started today. TDP members insisted on discussing the adjournment resolution on Chandrababu’s arrest as soon as these meetings started. They protested at the speaker’s podium. TDP MLA Balakrishna twirled his mustache at the speaker’s podium. Balakrishna was countered by YCP MLA Biyyapu Madhusudhan Reddy. This created tension in the assembly. MLAs from both parties protested as a pota contest. With this, Speaker Tammineni Sitaram adjourned the meeting. After that, AP Assembly Speaker Tammineni Sitaram gave a speech as soon as the meeting started. They said that Balakrishna, who acted against the traditions of the House, was considered as the first mistake. On the other hand, Sathya Prasad, Payyavula Keshav of TDP violated the traditions of the House,

Even after the meeting resumed, there was a chaotic atmosphere in the house. TDP members were caught on the adjournment resolution on Chandrababu’s arrest. However, AP Assembly Speaker Tammineni Sitaram has announced that he is rejecting the decision of this adjournment.  

TDP members continued their protest. At this time AP State Legislative Affairs Minister Buggana Rajendranath Reddy intervened. The behavior of TDP members was wrong. Buggana Rajendranath Reddy introduced a resolution suspending 14 TDP members from the House for obstructing the proceedings of the House. The House approved this decision. The suspended TDP members continued their protest raising slogans in the assembly. There was a chaotic atmosphere in the House. In view of these developments, AP Assembly Speaker Tammineni Sitaram announced that the AP Assembly is being postponed.
