Andhra Pradesh capital will be changed?

Yes, there seems to be inconsistency in the AP capital decision now. This is because of AP Municipal Administration Minister Botsa Satyanarayana’s recent sensational comments on the possible change of the capital region. His comments have not only drawn the several flak from the opposition but also the timid vibes in the Andhra people.

Botsa Satyanarayana said that current AP capital is a flood-prone place and not a safe capital hence, it may lead the government to incur a lot more cost to take a step of constructing the capital over there. He further hinted that this topic will be soon discussed in the state cabinet soon and may also have a chance of announcing its policy on the change of the capital region.

Post-Botsa’s comments, opposition leaders went on fire in where Ex-CM Chandrababu called it is a “man-made” flood and the ruling YSRCP is conspiring over Amaravathi capital. Former Chief Minister Chandra Babu Naidu said that “Polavaram has been stopped. Amaravati has been stopped. Projects have been stopped. No works are going on in the state. The government even stooped low to submerge the crops of farmers. It is a major conspiracy”.
