Anushka Shetty who is best known for playing the female lead in Arundhati, Size Zero, Rudhramadevi, Baahubali series, was last seen in Nishabdham. If ongoing buzz in the media and the film industry are to believed, Anushka Shetty is all set to make her comeback in Kollywood with a yet to be titled film which will be helmed by AL Vijay.
The sources revealed that the upcoming Tamil film is said to be a female-centric drama. However, there have been no official announcements made yet regarding the new film. Anushka Shetty has already worked with AL Vijay in ‘Deiva Thirumagal’.
AL Vijay debuted as director with the movies such as Kireedam and Madrasapattinam. Vijay later helmed the movies as Deiva Thirumagal and Thaandavam, starring Chiyaan Vikram in both films. In 2014, he was in a relationship with actress Amala Paul. Later he got engaged to Amala in Aluva Kochi and the couple got married on 12 June in Chennai. In 2016, they decided to separate, and in February 2017, they were granted divorce. His previous offering was Chithirai Sevvanam which was released on Zee5 .
In Tollywood, Anushka Shetty will be next seen in Naveen Polishetty starrer film which is bankrolled by UV Creations.
