The third day of the AP Assembly session started. Immediately after the start of the meeting, Telugu Desam Party introduced an adjournment motion to discuss farmers’ issues. However, this resolution was rejected by Speaker Tammineni Sitaram. There is a chaotic atmosphere in the Andhra Pradesh State Assembly. This situation took place due to the concern of TDP members. The speaker took action against the TDP members for obstructing the proceedings of the assembly.
The TDP members raised slogans to destroy the government that exploited the aqua farmers. The Assembly passed a resolution suspending the TDP MLAs who were agitated by this. Speaker Tammineni Sitaram announced that Nandamuri Balakrishna, Gorantla Butchaiah Chaudhary, Nimmakayala Chinarajappa, Venkatareddy Naidu, Velagapudi Ramakrishnababu, Nimmala Ramanaidu, Rama Raju and Dola Bala Veeranjaneyaswamy are being suspended for one day.
It is known that TDP members were suspended in the Andhra Pradesh Assembly on Tuesday as well. The suspended TDP MLAs stood in the House and raised slogans. TDP members were forcibly taken out.
