The government is getting ready to conduct the assembly sessions of Andhra Pradesh. It is expected to start the meetings from 21st of this month. The state government has decided the dates for holding the meetings in advance. According to the information provided by the government sources, the assembly meetings will be held for five days from 21st of this month.

There are possibilities to extend the debate on the bills by two more days depending on the need of the House. The contract employees regularization bill will be introduced in these meetings. There is a possibility that the GPS related bill which the government wants to bring for the CPS employees will also be introduced in the assembly meetings.

The employees demanded some changes in the recent meeting on the proposal made by the government. Based on the CM’s decision, the ministerial sub-committee has to meet the representatives of the trade unions once again and finalize these. If this process is completed immediately, it seems certain that this bill will be introduced in the current assembly sessions.

In addition to these, government will introduce bills related to some other ordinances and some new bills in the meetings. CM Jagan Mohan Reddy will have a special meeting with government and party representatives on Thursday regarding the assembly meetings.
