Andhra Pradesh Cabinet is going to meet today. The Cabinet meeting will be held at 11 am in Block 1 of the Secretariat. From 1st January 2024 Cabinet will give green signal to give 3 thousand pension. As the elections are approaching, many important decisions are likely to be taken in this cabinet meeting.
The cabinet will discuss the assessment of crop damage and compensation due to Mig Jam cyclone. AP Cabinet to approve increase in free medical limit by Rs 25 lakh through Arogyasree.
The Cabinet will approve the land allotments to many organizations. Group-1 and 2 job appointments in AP will be discussed in the Cabinet. There is a possibility that the CM will discuss the change of seats of MLAs and ministers.
The CM will discuss the recent crop loss in coastal districts, the impact of Mig Jam cyclone and the impact of drought in Rayalaseema districts with the cabinet. As part of the 2019 election promises, YCP has announced that pensions will be increased to Rs 3 thousand. Since coming to power in 2019, pensions have been increasing annually at the rate of Rs 250 per year.
