The second tranche of Rythu Bharosa funds will be released for farmers in AP. Funds are being released as investment assistance to farmers for the fifth year in a row. This year, the sector is ready to distribute the second tranche of investment assistance under Rythu Bharosa Aid. Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy will deposit Rs.2,204.77 crore. Rythu Bharosa aid to 53.53 lakh farmers at the rate of Rs.4,000 per farmer in Puttaparthi of Sri Satyasai district today.

The AP government has provided assistance to the farmers at the rate of Rs. 13,500 per year in three installments of Rs. 13,500 per year and Rs. 67,500 per year in five years in excess of the promise of providing assistance of Rs. 50,000 in four years at the rate of Rs. 12,500. In these funds, PM Kisan funds are also provided to the farmers. Investment assistance is being provided at the rate of Rs.17,500 in addition to what is stated in the manifesto.

The government is providing Rs.7,500 in May before sowing of Kharif crop, Rs.4,000 for Kharif crops before the end of October-November and Rs.4,000 for Rabi needs. Rs.6500 provided by PM Kisan is also included in Rythu Bharosa.

In the third installment, the government is providing assistance at the rate of Rs. 2,000 per crop in January/February. The scheme is also being implemented for those who are not in the PM Kisan scheme which is being implemented across the country.

Government is providing investment assistance of Rs13,500 to SC, ST, BC, Minority Tenant Farmers, RVOFR and Devadaya land cultivators under Rythu Bharosa at par with the land owners. In addition to the latest deposits of Rs 2,204.77 crores, YSR has provided investment assistance of Rs.33,209.81 crores in these four and a half years at the rate of Rs 65,500 per farmer family under Rythu Bharosa.
