AP government is imposing a ban on the meetings and rallies on roads. AP government has taken this important decision for the safety of the Andhra people. From now on, it is impossible for anyone to hold meetings and rallies on the roads as they like. This new rule applies to the state, municipal, panchayat raj roads and margins. Due to this decision,the political parties and other groups will no longer hold the rallies and meetings on the roads.
The govt, which has taken this sensational decision, has ordered the officials to select the alternative places to hold such meetings and rallies. He said, to choose places away from the roads and where there is no problem to public. The permission will be given to hold the meetings and rallies in those selected places.
It has been also announced that strict action will be taken against the organizers if anyone violates these orders of the govt.
The State Home Department has issued this order after 2 incidents in Kandukur and Guntur have resulted in the loss of lives of common people.
AP government new order comes in the wake of a stampede at a rally held by the main opposition Telugu Desam Party- TDP at Kandukuru last week in which 8 people were killed.
