The High Court dismissed the anticipatory bail petitions filed by Chandrababu. Chandrababu applied for anticipatory bail in the Inner Ring Road and Angallu riots and fiber grid cases. The High Court rejected Babu’s petitions in these cases.
Chandrababu Naidu is A1 in the capital Amaravati Inner Ring Road and Angallu riots case. He was A25 in the Fiber Net case. High Court judge Justice K. Suresh Reddy has reserved judgments on the petitions filed separately by Chandrababu for bail in these cases. On Monday, the High Court announced that it was rejecting Babu’s petitions.
The High Court agreed with the arguments of the CID that earlier granting of bail was not appropriate as petitions to consider Chandrababu Naidu as an accused in the Fiber Net, IRR and Angallu cases are pending in the lower court. Chandrababu’s custody petitions in the skill development case and petitions to include Babu as an accused in the rest of the cases are pending in the ACB special court.
