TDP leader Nara Lokesh‘s anticipatory bail petition has been dismissed by the AP High Court in the Amaravathi Inner Ring Road case. Lokesh was advised to cooperate with the investigation.
Andhra Pradesh CID registered a case on Nara Lokesh, among others, in the Amaravathi Inner Ring Road case charging them with corrupt practices to deliver the illegal favours to some of their favoured individuals.
Lokesh filed an anticipatory bail petition in the AP High Court. Lokesh’s anticipatory bail petition was heard in the High Court. Dhammalapati Srinivas heard arguments on behalf of Lokesh.
Court said to issue 41A notice to Lokesh in Inner Ring Road case. AG Sriram told the court that a 41-A notice will be issued to Lokesh. They said that they are following the law. CID notices are likely to be issued to Lokesh in Delhi.
The AG asked the court to tell Lokesh to appear before the investigating officer. Lokesh was ordered to cooperate with the investigation. To this extent, the High Court dismissed Lokesh’s anticipatory bail petition.
