TDP president Chandrababu Naidu has been granted interim bail in the skill development case. Chandrababu, who was arrested in the skill development case on September 9, was granted bail after 53 days due to ill health.
AP High Court granted interim bail to TDP President Chandrababu Naidu. The court granted interim bail for four weeks after hearing the petitions seeking cataract surgery for the right eye. Chandrababu was granted bail based on the recommendations of the government doctor.
On the other hand, the hearing on the regular bail petition filed by Chandrababu was postponed to November 10. The Supreme Court has already issued orders not to arrest in the Fibernet case. According to TDP sources, Chandrababu is likely to be released on Tuesday evening after the AP High Court granted anticipatory bail in the Inner Ring Road case.
It is said that the Supreme Court has stayed only in the fiber grid case and granted interim bail in the skill scam case till 24th due to health reasons. The court ordered Chandrababu not to participate in political activities, election campaigns and political related activities and to submit a surety of one lakh rupees and two sureties. Chandrababu should be confined to the hospital and home only, the court orders said.
The High Court has imposed several conditions while granting bail. It said that Chandrababu can get medical tests and surgery wherever he wants. It suggested surrender by five o’clock in the evening on the 28th.
The AP High Court ordered that the appeal to continue security of Chandrababu Z Plus should be dealt with as per the rules. Government advocates asked to keep CID officials with Chandrababu.
