Housing Minister Jogi Ramesh‘ car narrowly escaped an accident. The AP minister was traveling in a car from Chilakaluripet to Nellore on Monday morning when he met with an accident on the national highway near Pellur near Ongole in Prakasam district. The Minister was traveling in a car on his way from Chilakaluripet to Nellore.
Since road works are going on the national highway, barricades were set up for the traffic diversion. Due to air, the cones set up on the divider flew and fell on the road. The car driver in the Minister Jogi Ramesh’ convoy applied sudden brakes and he wanted to avoid hitting the cones. With this, the vehicles in the convoy collided with each other and also hit the adjacent divider.
Jogi Ramesh’s car was also out of control but he was not injured. He escaped unhurt. He immediately got into another car and left the place.
The highway Mobile personnel, Taluka CI Srinivasa Reddy reached the spot and removed the damaged car to ease the traffic. Everyone breathed a sigh of relief as the minister Jogi Ramesh was safe and unhurt.
Jogi Ramesh was elected as the Member of the Legislative Assembly (MLA) from Pedana Constituency in 2019 and on 11th April 2022 sworn in as the Minster in the Jagan 2.0 cabinet.
