AP MLA Nimmakayala Chinarajappa narrow escape in road accident

Former Andhra Pradesh Minister and senior Telugu Desam Party (TDP) leader Nimmakayala Chinarajappa had a narrow escape when the car he was travelling in hit a divider in his constituency of Peddapuram, Kakinada district. This incident took place on Saturday. Nimmakayala Chinarajappa emerged safely from the accident and later left the scene in another car. The accident has since gone viral on social media.

Chinarajappa declared TDP candidate for the Peddapuram assembly constituency for the third time by the TDP & Jana sena combine, was taking part in a rally when the incident took place.

It is known that the Telugu Desam Party announced its list of candidates for the upcoming Assembly elections on Saturday. Nimmakayala Chinarajappa secured the ticket to contest from Peddapuram. Following this announcement, TDP workers and his supporters organized a rally in Peddapuram, where Nimmakayala Chinarajappa’s car was decorated with a garland and taken through the town.

As the rally reached Durga centre, a sudden obstruction caused the driver to apply the sudden brakes, resulting in the car hitting a divider.
