APSRTC has taken measures to avoid problems for those going to villages during Sankranti festival. 6,795 special buses have been made available especially during the festival. But these will run in addition to the regular services. APSRTC officials said in a statement that these buses will provide services from today to January 18. He said that normal fares will be charged in these special buses as well.
APSRTC said that 3,570 buses have been arranged to run from January 6 (Saturday) to 14 and another 3,225 buses from January 16 to 18 for return journeys. It has been revealed that the advance reservations for regular services between 10th to 13th of this month have already been completed. Officials explained that special services are being made available on those routes. It has been announced that reservations have started in these too.
Apart from different parts of AP, these special buses will run from Hyderabad, Chennai, Bangalore and other cities. RTC has made a special plan for this.
On the other hand, Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (TSRTC) has given an alert. It has announced that 4,484 special RTC buses will be made available for passengers on the occasion of Sankranthi festival. From January 6 to January 15, these special buses will run from Hyderabad to various parts of Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh and Maharashtra. RTC officials are planning to run.
