Hyderabad MP Asaduddin Owaisi made sensational comments against Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu. Assad accused Netanyahu of being a devil, a tyrant and a war criminal. Asaduddin Owaisi asked Prime Minister Narendra Modi to show solidarity and help the people of Gaza in the wake of thousands of deaths in the ongoing war between Israel and Hamas.
“I support Palestine. Salute to the brave men of Gaza who are still fighting today! Netanyahu is a demon, a tyrant, a war criminal! In our country a baba chief minister Yogi said that we will file cases against those who mention the name of Palestine, so listen baba chief minister, I am holding the flag of Palestine and our tricolor flag as well. I will stand by Palestine,” said Owaisi at a public meeting in Hyderabad.
He added: I would like to appeal to the Prime Minister to stop the atrocities against the Palestinians. Palestine is not just a Muslim issue, it is a humanitarian issue.
The Congress has expressed its longstanding support for the Palestinian people’s right to land and self-determination. On October 7, Hamas launched attacks on Israel, killing hundreds of people. The attack killed more than 1,300 people in Israel, while Israeli airstrikes killed more than 3,500 people in Gaza.
