All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen chief Asaduddin Owaisi has made key comments that he will contest in majority seats in Telangana in the next elections. He said that they are also an alternative in Telangana. He met the Majlis leaders who were recently arrested on the complaint of BRS MLA Shakeel in Nizamabad District Jail today.
There Asaduddin Owaisi spoke to the media: We will announce the list before the elections where we will contest. We will compete. BRS MLA Shakeel will be punished.
Owaisi demanded to give Muslim Bandhu to Muslims in Telangana as well. He said that there are many poor people among Muslims. He said that earlier this matter was brought to the notice of CM KCR, but no response was received from him.
Asaduddin Owaisi added, “We will work for the strengthening of MIM. We will think about which party to take support with which party to go ahead with. The opposition parties did not call me for the Patna meeting. We are also an alternative in Telangana. The people will decide the victory in Telangana.”
On the otherside, on Sunday, Asaduddin Owaisi accused some news channels of falsely reporting that slogans in support of Mughal emperor Aurangzeb were shouted at his rally in Maharashtra’s Buldhana district.
