A key development has taken place in the fiber grid case that has come to light in Andhra Pradesh. The AP Home Department has issued an order attaching the properties belonging to the accused on the allegations of misappropriation of Rs 114 crores of government money.

In the wake of allegations of irregularities in the first phase of the fiber net project, the AP Home Department has issued orders attaching the properties of the accused. To this extent, GIO 180 was issued by Home Secretary Harish Gupta.

The investigation led by the CID ADG has found that the facts related to the conspiracy have come to light and the government has suffered a loss of Rs114 crore due to criminal activities. APSFL MD Madhusudan Reddy stated that a case has been registered and the investigation has started.

Former Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu is A25 in the Fibernet case. Vemuri Harikrishna Prasad, who is A1, and Tummala Gopichand, director of Tera Software Limited, who is A11, have been involved in the conspiracy with Chandrababu’s cooperation. The CID investigation revealed that the jobs were secured with fake experience certificates.

It has been revealed that he committed irregularities to get the government project. He said that the companies belonging to Vipilapkumar, Vijaykumar Rammurthy and Kanumuri Venkateswara Rao were involved in the conspiracy. It has been claimed that the government has been cheated with substandard equipment and the release of funds to Terasoft has caused a loss of Rs 114 crore to the government exchequer.

Based on the CID investigation, orders were issued attaching the immovable properties of several companies involved in the conspiracy. CID officials have proposed to attach seven of these immovable properties. The Ministry of Home Affairs approved the proposal of CID and released the GEO. CID has asked the Home Department to attach the assets of Terra Soft MD Tummala Gopichand, who is accused in the Fibernet scam, along with the assets of several companies.
