Avatar re release Box Office Collection: Before the audience watches Avatar 2 — Avatar: The Way of Water, James Cameron is introducing the movie lovers to the original film again. As it releases again, the movie lovers are showering praises on it. Now according to the traders report, Avatar has earned $30.5 Million at the worldwide box office in its 1st Weekend.

International – $20.5 Million
Total – $30.5 Million
In North America, the movie Avatar placed third on box office charts behind newer releases like Olivia Wilde’s Don’t Worry Darling with the earnings of $19.2 million and the Viola Davis’ The Woman King with the earning of $11 million.
When Avatar was released in 2009, the film generated a solid, but hardly record-breaking, $77 million opening at the domestic box office. The movie held the No. 1 spot for a record consecutive seven weeks and remained in the top 10 for over 3 months, eventually climbing to $760 million in North America.
Hollywood blockbuster Avatar is doing in India too. Avatar was re-released in India on cinema day and did very well.
