According to the latest buzz in the film industry B Town is trying to rope Tollywood actor Prabhas to play the role of Ravana in upcoming big budget project Ramayana. Greek God of Bollywood Hrithik Roshan will play Rama whereas Padmaavat fame Deepika Padukone has been roped in to essay Sita in Ramayana. And Speculation are rife that Prabhas will play Ravana in Ramayana.
Prabhas has become well known face for Bollywood audiences after delivering SS Rajamouli’ Baahubali. His recent offering Saaho’ Hindi version is also turning out hit in North Area. So the B Town makers are feeling that His’ presence in Ramayana will bring extra mileage for the project.
On the other side, it has also come out that Prabhas too is in plans to act in straight Bollywood film. Now we have to wait and see whether Prabhas will accept the offer to play the role of Ravana in Ramayana or not.
Ramayana will be helmed by Dangal fame Nitesh Tiwari and Mom fame Ravi Udyawar. Ramayana will be made in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu and shot in 3D. The big budget project wil be jointly bankrolled by Mantena, Allu Aravind and Namit Malhotra.
On the otherside, Prabhas is getting ready to join the sets of his next upcoming romantic entertainer Jaan, which is directed by Radha Krishna Kumar.
