Balakrishna and other TDP MLAs suspended from Andhra Pradesh Assembly

Even today tense situations took place in AP Assembly. On the other hand, the opposition TDP MLAs, who were upset over the governor’s speech in the assembly budget meetings, became agitated today as well. The situation in the House was changed to YCP versus TDP. On the other hand, Sarpanchs from all over the state outside the assembly tried to besiege the assembly which led to tensions. The opposition TDP today gave an adjournment resolution to the Speaker seeking a discussion on the price hike in the state. The government insisted on discussing the price hike. The Speaker did not agree to this and the TDP MLAs raised slogans. The TDP members got angry by tearing papers and throwing them on the speaker. Minister Ambati Rambabu and YCP MLA Sudhakar Babu expressed their anger at the behavior of TDP leaders.

Ambati Rambabu said that the opposition members have no respect for the Speaker, he demanded action against those who threw pieces of papers on the chair.

Speaker Thammineni Seetharam took a decision to suspend the TDP MLAs for one day today. Speaker Tammineni Seetharam suspended 10 TDP members as they surrounded his chair and raised slogans, refused to allow him to conduct the proceedings. Later, TDP members went out of the assembly and protested.

The suspended TDP MLAs included Kinjerapu Atchen Naidu and actor N Balakrishna.
