Several South stars have donated their part as relief amount to state Government funds. The celebrities are coming forward when the country is facing a tough time during 21 days Lockdown. Akshay Kumat, Prabhas, Ram Charan, Salman Khan, Amitabh Bachchan, Mahesh Babu, Allu Arjun, Pawan Kalyan, Chiranjeevi and more have immensely donated relief amount as their part and several actors have donated food items to poor and needy people on the streets. Now Nandamuri Balakrishna has also announced his donation today.
Nandamuri Balakrishna has contributed Rs 1 Cr 25 lakhs. Paisa Vasool star gave 50 lakhs each to both the governments of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. He also donated Rs 25 lakhs to the Corona Crisis Charity fund.
Darbar and 2.0 star Rajinikanth has donated Rs 50 lakh for the daily wage workers of the South Indian film industry. Suriya, Karthi donated Rs 10 lakh. Sivakarthikeyan too donated Rs 10 lakh. Power Star Pawan Kalyan donated a total of 2 Cr for COVID-19. He donated Rs 50 Lakhs to Andhra Pradesh and Telangana Chief Minister relief funds each.
On the work front, Balakrishna was last seen in Ruler, which was a dud at the box office and currently he is working with Boyapati Srinu for an action drama.
