Balakrishna unique plan: 100 idols of NTR in 100 TheatersNandamuri Balakrishna who will be seen essaying the role of his father Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao, in NTR Kathanayakudu, is busy in the promotional activities. According to the latest update, Balakrishna has planned to place 100 idols of legendary actor and former Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao (NTR) in 100 cinema halls across the Telugu states as a mark of respect.

100 NTR’s idols will be displayed across various theaters in the two Telugu speaking states to mark the release of NTR Kathanayakudu.

 NTR biopic will be released in two parts- NTR Kathanayakudu and NTR Mahanayakudu. The first part of NTR biopic is slated to hit the theaters on 9th January 2019 and its promotions are currently going on in full swing.

Owing to Balakrishna’s huge fan base in both the Telugu states- Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, the makers of the movie are eyeing for a big release in both AP and Telangana and also in certain parts of Tamil Nadu.

 NTR Kathanayakudu will trace NTR’s life as one of the most successful actors of Tollywood in the ’70s and ’80s and NTR-Mahanayakudu, the second part of the biopic, will portray NTR’s political life  and the formation of the Telugu Desam Party.  NTR Mahanayakudu will arrived at the theaters on 8th  February.

The satellite rights of the NTR biopic starring Balakrishna and Vidya Balan, have been sold for Rs 25 Cr to Gemini pictures. Vidya Balan is playing the role of NTR’s first wife.

 Apart from the lead pair, the biopic has other stars like Rakul Preet Singh, Nithya Menen, Mohan Babu, Sumanth, Rana Daggubati and others in supporting roles. Directed by Krish and  produced jointly  by Balakrishna along with Vishnu Induri and Sai Korrapati.

Balakrishna, Vidya Balan, Krish, Nandamuri Kalyanram and Sumanth are touring Nimmakuru, Bengaluru and Tirupathi on Monday and Tuesday respectively
