BJP president JP Nadda rejigged the list of the party’ central office bearers on 29th July, bringing in a Pasmanda Muslim from UP as one of its-vice presidents and accommodating Bandi Sanjay Kumar as a national general secretary.
Former BJP state president Bandi Sanjay has been entrusted with key responsibilities by the high command. He has been inducted into the newly announced party’s national executive committee. Bandi Sanjay Kumar appointed as the National General Secretary. DK Aruna (Telangana) will be the National Vice President and Satyakumar (AP), Tarun Chugh and Sunil Bansal will continue as National General Secretaries. The party’s national president JP Nadda gave instructions to this effect.
Tariq Mansoor, MLC from Uttar Pradesh- UP and former AMU- Aligarh Muslim University Vice-Chancellor, has been appointed as BJP vice-president. Mansoor is a Pasmanda Muslim. Most of office bearers have been retained as the vice presidents, the general secretaries and the secretaries in this new list.
