Mahesh Babu and Kiara Adavni starrer Bharat Ane Nenu (BAN) has opened to humongous response at the worldwide box-office on the first day. As Mahesh Babu and Koratala Siva’s first combination earlier for Srimanthudu was a blockbuster, a lot of curiosity was generated for Bharat Ane Nenu. The hype helped the producers sell its theatrical rights for record prices. BAN received positive talk from everywhere, which boosted its collection in the regular morning and matinee shows across both the states. The movie witnessed similar response in Bangalore, Chennai, Mumbai and other parts of India on Friday.
According to the Industry Tracker Kaushik LM, Bharat Ane Nenu has collected Rs 27 Lakhs in Chennai City on its opening day and has beaten the record of Ram Charan and Samantha Akkineni’s Rangasthalam, which earned Rs 25 Lakhs on Day 1. Kaushik LM tweeted, “Breaking: #BharatAneNenu sets a new Day1 Chennai city gross record for a Telugu film with 27 lakhs, beating #Rangasthalam’s 25 lakhs. #MaheshBabu sheer MASS at his stronghold! #SSMB @urstrulyMahesh.”
