Megastar Chiranjeevi starrer Bholaa Shankar is also gearing up for the grand release on 11th August and it will have USA Premier on 10th August. It is an official remake of the 2015 Tamil film Vedalam. According to the latest report, Bholaa Shankar has collected $246k from 355 locations from USA Presales. Bholaa Shankar which has milky siren Tamannah Bhatia as the leading lady is helmed by Meher Ramesh and is bankrolled by AK entertainment. The movie also has national award winning actress Keerthy Suresh in the role of Chiru’ sister.
On the otherside, Bholaa Shankar’s advance booking has opened and is off to a slow start in both Telugu states- Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.
Directed by Meher Ramesh, Bholaa Shankar is one of the least hyped movies of megastar Chiranjeevi which led to below-expected response in advance sales. The film however, is still to open with a good collection due to Chiranjeevi’s star power and well received promos.
Bholaa Shankar is produced by AK Entertainments and Creative Commercials. The movie is all about the story of Shankar (Chiranjeevi), a former gangster who arrives in Kolkata with his adopted sister Mahalakshmi (Keerthy Suresh) for her education and also on a personal mission to hunt down a crime network who were responsible for the death of his sister Mahalakshmi’s family.
