Gujarat: BJP leader Bhupendra Patel was sworn in as Gujarat CM for the second time. Governor Acharya Devvrat administered oath to Bhupendra Patel in the presence of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Minister Amit Shah on Monday. Chief Ministers of BJP-ruled states attended the program held at Gandhi Nagar.

Along with Bhupendra Patel, Harsha Sanghavi, Jagdish Vishwakarma, Naresh Patel, Bachubhai Khabad and Parshottam Solanki were sworn in as ministers in the Gujarat Cabinet. BJP National President JP Nadda and Defense Minister Rajnath Singh also attended the swearing-in ceremony.

In the recently held Gujarat Assembly elections, the BJP won an undisputed victory. She took over the reins of power for the seventh time. BJP, which has been in power for six years, has once again consolidated its power. It won 156 out of 182 seats. In this election, the Congress party won only 17 seats… Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) won five seats and opened its account in the state legislature.
