TDP chief and former CM Nara Chandrababu Naidu got a big shock.
Chandrababu Naidu faced another big shock as he was named as Accused-1 in a new case. In the much talked about Amaravati Inner Ring Road(IRR), TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu was named as A-1 while former Minister Narayana is named A-2. A charge sheet was filed by CID.
CID alleged that fraudulent agreement was made with Singapore government in last regime. The CID said that there was no government-to-government agreement on this.
Chandrababu Naidu’s son, former minister Nara Lokesh and Lingamaneni Rajasekhar and Ramesh have been named as accused in this case. The CID said that there is no agreement between the Singapore and Andhra Pradesh governments. The central government did not approve the agreement with Singapore.
The sources say that CID told court that a foreign master planner (M/s Surbana Jurong) was appointed on nomination basis for making the designs for the master plan in a manner that would rake in benefits for the accused.
