Big Shock YCP MP resigns to join TDP

Ongole MP, Magunta Srinivasulu Reddy gave a big shock  to everyone by announcing the resignation. He had announced that he would be quitting the ruling YSR Congress, citing a perceived lack of respect within its ranks. Magunta Srinivasulu Reddy said that he would send his resignation letter to party chief and chief minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy very soon.

He revealed that his decision to leave YCP stemmed from unforeseen circumstances, while expressing gratitude to his supporters and fellow leaders within the constituency.

Magunta Srinivasulu Reddy interacted with media and appreciated the party’s chief, YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, for the support rendered during his five year tenure.

Magunta Srinivasulu Reddy said, “My family had been in the politics for over three decades and the people of Prakasam district have been supporting my family for all these years.”

It seems that Magunta Srinivasulu Reddy is ready to join TDP after today’s press meet.  The reports are also coming that after that Chandrababu will announce him as Ongole TDP MP Candidate. Magunta, who was an MP in the TDP before the last election, defected to the YCP during the election and contested again and won.
