BJP announces first list with 9 candidates in Telangana

BJP has released the first list of 195 candidates for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections. The names of 9 candidates from Telangana have been announced in the first list. Union Minister and Telangana BJP president Kishan Reddy is contesting from Secunderabad and Bandi Sanjay is contesting from Karimnagar. The ticket from Nizamabad to Dharmapuri Arvind has been finalized. Prime Minister Modi will once again contest from Varanasi.

In the first list of BJPs, candidates have been announced for 9 places out of 17 seats in Telangana. Candidates have to be announced for 8 more seats. The tickets of three of the sitting MPs have been finalized. Adilabad MP Soyam Bapurao’s name has been kept pending by the administration. It seems that the remaining seats have been kept pending as the competition for the other seats is also heavy.

 DK Aruna, Jitender Reddy and Shantikumar are in fierce competition for the Mahabubnagar seat. Etala Rajender’s name has been finalized for Malkaz Giri’s position amid various speculations. Senior leader Muralidhar Rao tried for a Malkajgiri ticket. Zaheerabad MP Bibi Patil got a ticket soon after joining BJP. MP Ramulu gave Nagarkurnool seat to his son Bharat. Madhavi Latha will compete against Asaduddin Owaisi in Hyderabad. Adilabad sitting MP Soyam Bapurao was disappointed in the first list.
