AP BJP chief Somu Veerraju praised Telugu Desam Party chief and former Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu. He was hailed as a great leader. Veerraju made these comments while responding to a question asked by reporters about Chandrababu’s recent meeting with BJP chief Nadda and Home Minister Amit Shah in Delhi. Veerraju should ask him why Chandrababu met both of them. He clarified that Chandrababu is a great leader and he did not go and meet him, nor would he oppose him meeting Amit Shah.

Anyone can meet party leaders. In response to another question, he said that there is no truth in the campaign going on social media claiming that candidates have been announced for MP positions in the state. Speaking on the allegations that BJP state SC Morcha president Devanand is making money in the name of jobs, Veerraju said that the matter has been brought to the attention of the authorities and they will take care of it.
