Union Minister Kishan Reddy will leave for New Delhi on Tuesday evening. Kishan Reddy will discuss the selection of candidates to contest the Telangana Assembly elections with the top leaders of Kishan Reddy’s party. The BJP Central Election Committee meeting will be held on November 1.
BJP is likely to finalize the third list in this meeting. In the third list, there is a possibility of women and BC being given a big place. BJP released the first list with 52 candidates on 22nd of this month. BJP released the second list on 27th of this month.
BJP has announced the name of AP Mithun Reddy, son of former MP AP Jitender Reddy from Mahbub Nagar assembly seat. The second list has been released with this name alone. The BJP leadership will work for the third list. Leaders from other parties also did not have the opportunity to be allotted tickets in the third list.
BJP has yet to declare 66 seats. Telangana will contest assembly elections with Jana Sena. Janasena wants to give 20 seats in Telangana assembly elections. However, BJP is willing to allocate 10 assembly seats to Jana Sena. Kishan Reddy will discuss this matter with the top leaders of the party.
BRS is ahead in releasing the list of candidates. Congress is yet to announce the list of candidates for 19 assembly seats. BJP has yet to announce its candidates in 66 seats. Candidates from BRS and Congress parties have already started campaigning.
