The final list of candidates contesting on behalf of BJP in Telangana assembly elections has been announced. Candidates have been announced in four phases so far. 14 names have been announced in the final list. Candidates received information directly from Delhi on Thursday that they have to file nominations in eight seats.
BJP and Janasena are contesting together in 119 assembly seats in the state. BJP will contest in 111 seats. BJP has already announced candidates for 100 seats.
As Satyanarayana, who was announced as the candidate for Chandrayanagutta, said that he could not contest due to ill health, a new candidate was announced there. The party members said that Prakash Javadekar himself called on Thursday to finalize the candidates in 8 seats as the deadline for filing nominations is till Friday afternoon.
Dugyala Pradeep Kumar from Peddapally constituency, S. from Malka Jigiri in the final list. Ramachandra Rao, Krishna Prasad from Cantonment, Rahul Chandra from Nampally, Ravikumar Yadav from Serilingampally, Konda Prashanth from Devarakadra and K. Pulla Rao from Narsam Peta have been advised to make nominations. Medchal Sudarshan Reddy, Koyala Emji in Bellampally, D. Rajeswara Rao in Sangareddy and Ashwadhama Reddy from Vanaparthi were announced but changed in the final list. In Bellampally also, the previously announced candidate has been changed.
N. Ramachandra Rao in Malkajgiri, Ravikumar Yadav in Serilingampally, Rahul Chandra in Nampally, K. Mahender in Chandrayana Gutta, Konda Prashanth Reddy in Devarakadra, Maremma in Alampur, Vijayaraju in Madhira Penumalli, Ganesh Narayan in Cantonment, Pullarao in Narsampeta.
