Telangana Assembly sessions continued on Saturday. The Governor’s speech was discussed in the House. Speaking on behalf of the BJP, Maheshwar Reddy asked that every promise given by the Congress should be implemented.
Maheshwar Reddy said that it is not right for the Congress which came to power to talk only about six guarantees. It is suggested to talk about the 412 promises given in the election manifesto. He said that only Sonia Gandhi’s name was mentioned in the Governor’s speech, but it is sad that Sushmaraj’s name, who played a key role, was not mentioned.
He said that the Praja Darbhar will be held every day, It is not correct to say that it is only for two days now. There is no clarity about Rythu Bandhu funds. They want a clear statement. He also asked for clarification on the issue of national status for the Palamuru-Ranga Reddy project. He said that the Congress seems to be thinking of ignoring the issue of unemployment benefits just like the KCR government. He reminded that this important point was also not in the Governor’s speech. They want to make an announcement on this.
He said that the said time has passed and yet no announcement has been made regarding the loan waiver. BJP will fight hard in this matter. Maheshwar Reddy said that they should work without giving up the hopes of the people and hope that the Congress party will take the lead in that direction.
