A day after 2 Delhi ministers Manish Sisodia and Satyendar Jain facing corruption charges resigned, the BJP attacked on Aam Aadmi Party leader and Chief Minister Arvind Kejirwal.
BJP described Arvind Kejriwal as the kingpin of the Delhi liquor policy ‘scam’ and today asked as to when will the Chief Minister resign, after two of his ministers, Manish Sisodia and Satyendar Jain, stepped down on Tuesday.
Not only this BJP also termed Manish Sisodia’s resignation letter submitted on Tuesday not having any date as playing with Constitution.
Manish Sisodia who was handling 18 of the total 33 departments in Delhi government, was arrested by the CBI on Sunday evening in the Delhi excise policy case, whereas Satyendar Jain currently lodged in Tihar jail, was arrested by the Enforcement Directorate- ED in May last year in connection with a money laundering case.
Accusing Kejriwal’s PA of trying to tamper with evidence by destroying 4 mobile phones, BJP spokesperson Gaurav Bhatia asked whether the strings of the scam are connected to Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal. Gaurav Bhatia also asked His pawns have resigned. When will Kejriwal resign?”He also demanded that Kailash Gahlot should also resign as the minister as he was part of group of ministers of Delhi government that approved liquor policy.
