Brahmastra, the big budget drama starring Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor’s debut collaboration is scheduled to hit theatres on 9th September. But before the film’s release, we found the first review of Ayan Mukerji’s movie Brahmastra from UAE.
Umair Sandhu who calls himself a film and fashion critic in the UK, UAE and India, shared the first review on Brahmastra on Twitter: Brahmastra is high on VFX and a couple of sequences are well implemented. Cinematography is eye catching. The lighting is too dark at places. The production design is amazing! Story & screenplay is strictly average. Boring moments in interval portions. Music is first rate 2.5/5
Ranbir Kapoor does very well. He plays his part most convincingly. And also looking confused in some scenes! Amitabh Bachchan stole the show. Mouni Roy still inNagin mode! She is looking crap. Alia Bhatt looking cute as always.
On the whole, Brahmastra lacks soul. At the box-office, the publicity blitzkrieg might ensure good returns in its opening weekend, but the cracks should start appearing sooner than expected, since the film fails to keep you hooked. Its fall is imminent. Shah Rukh Khan came is best thing in Brahmastra.
Brahmastra is a fantasy adventure film written and directed by Ayan Mukerj, and it also has Nagarjuna, Amitabh Bachchan and Mouni Roy in the supporting roles.
