It is known that Andhra Pradesh chief Minister YS Jagan was attacked with a chicken knife at Visakhapatnam Airport during the last election. Recently, an inquiry was conducted in Vijayawada NIA court regarding this case. On this occasion, the court issued the orders. It ordered Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy to attend the hearing on 10th of next month. It has been clarified that along with chief Minister, his PA Nageswara Reddy should also come for investigation.
During its last hearing, NIA court had ordered that chief Minister, as victim, too must attend the hearing scheduled on Tuesday. However, the Chief Minister did not; though accused Janipalli Srinivasa Rao, who had attacked Jagan Mohan Reddy with a chicken knife, and CISF assistant commandant Dinesh Kumar, who is an eyewitness, attended the hearing.
Yesterday the court heard Airport Authority Commander Dinesh. And the police handed over a chicken knife and another small knife to court. A wallet and cell phone related were also presented to NIA bench. Later, the court adjourned next hearing to 10th April.
However, as Jagan Mohan Reddy had not attended the hearing, the court adjourned its hearing to 10th April ordering that victim Jagan Mohan Reddy be present on that day.
