Centre has approved the grant of interest free and long-term capital expenditure loans of Rs 56,415 crore to 16 states.
Center has announced the special scheme called Special Assistance to States for the Capital Investment for the financial year 2023-24 in this year budget. It has decided to give 1.3 lakh crores. A huge amount will be given to the states as an interest free loan for 50 years. 16 states will get Rs 56,415 cr has been approved by Union Finance Department. Through the recently approved funds by the Centre, it is possible to use the fund in the fields of irrigation, the electricity, health, education, the roads and railways.
Union Finance Department has approved the sanction of Rs 9640 crores central loan. Though the Center has approved the allocation of Rs 2,102 cr to Telangana state but there is no loan allocation for Kerala and Andhra Pradesh.
Bihar Rs 9,640 crores, Arunachal Pradesh Rs 1255 crores, Chhattisgarh Rs 3195 crores, Goa Rs 386 crores, Gujarat Rs 3478 crores, Haryana Rs 1093 crores, Himachal Pradesh Rs 826 crores, Karnataka Rs 3647 crores, Madhya Pradesh Rs 78 crores, 50 crores, Mizoram Rs 399 crores, Odisha Rs 4528 crores, Rajasthan Rs 6026 crores , Sikkim Rs 388 crores, Tamil Nadu Rs 4079 crores, Telangana state Rs 2102 crores, West Bengal Rs 7523 crores has been approved by the Union Finance Department.
