The officials of the Central Election Commission are touring AP. A high-level team headed by Chief Election Commissioner Rajeev Kumar reached Vijayawada last night. They will conduct reviews with the officials about the election preparations. An inquiry will be conducted on the complaints made by various parties regarding the list of voters. Also they are meeting with every political party. They will meet with each party for 15 to 20 minutes. In this order, TDP leader Chandrababu Naidu and Jana Sena Chief Pawan Kalyan met CEC officials at Novotel Hotel. Along with them leaders of BJP, CPM, BSP and AAP were present. Opposition leaders complained to the CEC about irregularities in the voter list in the state.
Chandrababu Naidu said that he has complained to the CEC about the irregularities in the voter list. He said that Illegal cases have been filed against leaders and workers of political parties. Chandrababu Naidu said that there is a conspiracy to add fake votes and they are making a mockery of democracy.
Chandrababu Naidu also said that the Election Commission officials have been asked to keep the secretariat employees and volunteers away from election duties. The police are also working in favor of the ruling party. They explained to the EC that illegal cases are being filed against those questioned about stolen votes.
