TDP National President Nara Chandrababu Naidu held a road show and public meetings in Pulivendula of Kadapa district as part of the campaign against destruction of irrigation projects. CM Jagan came under fire in a meeting held at Pula Angalla Center in Pulivendula.
Chandrababu Naidu said that in his 45-year political career, he has been in trouble many times. He said that Jagan, who is staying in Tadepalli, needs to see the manner of the TDP meeting in Pulivendulu, then Jagan will know what the people of Pulivendulu are thinking.
Chandrababu Naidu reminded that the situation in Rayala Seema changed with the arrival of NTR. NTR gave water to Seema through the Telugu Ganga, and only after giving water to Rayalaseema, it was decided that water should go to Chennai. NTR also said that projects like Galeru Nagari and Handriniva have been proposed. He said that after coming to power, he completed Muchumarri lift works and gave water.
In 2015 in Pulivendulu, I gave water to sugarcane crops and those farmers put a garland of sugarcane around my neck. Chandrababu said that if the leaders of Pulivendula asked him, he would have given two TMC of water and saved the crops of Pulivendula.
Chandrabbau Naidu says he is old, age is just a number in my case. Chandrababu said that a lion is always a lion. He said : I am satisfied that I have played a role in the development of the state.
