TDP chief Chandrababu got partial relief in Inner Ring Road and free sand cases during TDP rule. The High Court ordered that no action should be taken against Chandrababu till further orders.

The hearing on anticipatory bail petitions filed by Chandrababu in Inner Ring Road and free sand cases has been postponed. The AP High Court has adjourned the hearing in the IRR case to 29th of this month and postponed the hearing in the free sand case to 30th of this month.

Chandrababu heard arguments in the case filed by the CID regarding the Inner Ring Road case. As the Advocate General was not available today as part of the investigation, the hearing of the cases was postponed to the 29th of this month. CID has filed a 470-page additional affidavit on Chandrababu’s involvement in this case. Babu was asked not to grant bail in the Inner Ring Road case. They filed an affidavit with around 200 items detailing the alignment change and the inner ring road related to the acquisition of heritage lands.  This case was adjourned to 29th.

Siddharth Agarwal argued on behalf of Chandrababu Babu in a case where irregularities were committed in the free sand policy and hundreds of crores of income was lost. Chandrababu is A3 in this case. As the AG was not available, the hearing was adjourned to the 30th. The AP High Court has directed the CID not to take any action till further investigation in the two cases.
