TDP Chief said that he had visited Venkateswara Swamy, which is the place of Dharma preservation, to offer prayers. Babu recalled that he was born and brought up under the lotus feet of Lord Venkateswara and grew up step by step and dedicated himself to public service.

He said that even though 24 claymore mines exploded in Alipiri when he came to offer silk clothes as per tradition in Brahmotsavam in 2003, he survived only by the grace of Venkateswar.

He wished that the Telugu race in the country would be the number one race in the world. He said that in the coming days, India, which is the highest civilization in the world, should be at the top position and Telugu people should be at a good position.

The large gatherings of TDP supporters led to traffic congestion and chaos in parts of Tirupati. The movement of Chandrababu Naidu’s convoy route,  covering Renigunta Junction, Srinivasa Setu flyover, Tirumala bypass road, and Alipiri was affected for hours.
