The Vikram lander successfully landed on the lunar surface on 23rd August. Then, three hours later, the Pragyan rover entered the lunar surface through a ramp from the lander side panel. The six-wheeled Pragyan rover began orbiting the lunar surface. For the past week, Vikram lander has been orbiting near the lander and analyzing the moon’s surface and atmosphere.

ISRO shared another latest update regarding Chandrayaan 3 on Wednesday. The Pragyan Rover orbiting on the surface of the Moon took pictures of the Vikram Lander stationed there from different angles. The photos were shared by ISRO on Wednesday. The scenes of Vikram Lander standing in those photos are very clear. The navigation camera on the Pragyan rover took these photos. ISRO revealed that the photos were taken at 7:35 am on Wednesday. In that photo two payloads ChaSTE and ILSA belonging to Vikram Lander are clearly visible. This is the first time that ISRO has shared a photo of the Vikram lander parked on the south pole of the Moon.
