PM Modi launches 10 new Vande Bharat express trains Deets inside

Today, Prime Minister Narendra Modi officially opened 10 new Vande Bharat express trains, expanding the total count to over 50 and covering 45 countrywide routes. Connecting states with Broad Gauge electrified networks and passing over 24 states and 256 districts, the Indian Railways runs 41 Vande Bharat Express services. Along with Delhi-Katra, Delhi-Varanasi, Mumbai-Ahmedabad, Mysore-Chennai, Kasaragod-Thiruvananthapuram and now, Visakhapatnam-Secunderabad, the trains are carrying passengers through 6 routes.

Narendra Modi launched 6 additional Vande Bharat trains in December last year. Among them, the second train connects Katra to New Delhi. The other routes are Amritsar-Delhi, Coimbatore-Bangalore, Mangalore-Madgaon, Jaln-Mumbai and Ayodhya-Delhi. The second train between Delhi-varanasi was also set in motion in December 2023.

1. Ahmedabad-Mumbai Central

2. Secunderabad-Visakhapatnam

3. Mysuru-Dr. MGR Central (Chennai)

4. Patna-Lucknow

5. New Jalpaiguri-Patna

6. Puri-Visakhapatnam

7. Lucknow-Dehradun

8. Kalaburagi-Sir M Viswesvaraya Terminal Bengaluru

9. Ranchi-Varanasi

10. Khajuraho-Delhi (Nizamuddin)

The Prime Minister will also instigate the extension of 4 Vande Bharat trains today.

1. Ahmedabad-Jamnagar Vande Bharat is being extended till Dwaraka

2. Ajmer-Delhi Sarai Rohilla Vande Bharat is being extended till Chandigarh

3. Gorakhpur-Lucknow Vande Bharat is being extended till Prayagraj

4. Thiruvananthapuram-Kasargod Vande Bharat is being extended till Mangaluru
