The dubbing artist and the playback singer Chinmayi Sripada took to her Twitter and shared an old pic of legendary singer about Lata Mangeshkar from the sets of Rang De and wrote on the wall of Twitter, “That one time. Rang De Basanti. I dont think too many people know now that she loved photography. She’s said to have had a pretty fantastic collection of professional cameras and on this particular day she was talking about a new camera purchase too.”

Lata Mangeshkar crooned for many 1980s Ilayaraja Tamil hit songs. In her 80-year career, she lent her voice to songs in multiple Indian languages. She left a lasting impression on Tamils with her soulful Aararo and ValaiOsai, among other timeless melodies.
The singer Lata Mangeshkar was honored with Bharat Ratna, India’s highest civilian honour, Padma Bhushan, the Padma Vibhushan, and the Dada Saheb Phalke Award.
She passed away on the morning of 6th February, leaving the entire country teary-eyed. Lata was hospitalized last month after testing positive for the deadly coronavirus. Later she was also diagnosed with pneumonia.
