CM Jagan appoints 3 candidates for Rajya Sabha seats

For the forthcoming Rajya Sabha elections, three candidates were nominated by the chief minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy yesterday. Those candidates are named Y.V Subba Reddy, Golla Babu Rao and Meda Raghunatha Reddy. The nominations will be taken into account from today to the 15th of this month and polling will take place on the 27th February.

After grabbing a chance to prosper as the members of Rajya Sabha, the nominated candidates have expressed their gratitude towards the chief minister. Yerram Venkata Subba Reddy won the 2014 LS election from Ongole on a YSRC ticket. He was named as TTD chairman. Raghunatha Reddy hails from Chennai Garhi village in Nandaluru mandal.

Golla Babu Rao, who is an MLA of YSRC, was a former APPSC Group-1 officer. In the year 2009, he started his political career as a member of the AP assembly from Payakaraopeta, a reserved constituency in Visakhapatnam district. In 1986, he worked as a district panchayat officer in AP’s Group-1 services. Raghunatha eddy completed his education in Tanguturu and entered the construction industry as a contractor in Bengaluru at age twenty.
