CM Jagan said that measures are being taken to ensure that those who have lost their jobs due to ONGC activities get regular compensation from ONGC. He said that a good program related to fishermen was to be held in Sullur Peta and soon that program would be organized again. Jagan said that on that day, he will explain the good that his government has done for the fishermen.

Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy said that as soon as he came to know that 40 boats were burnt in the incident in Visakhapatnam, he thought about how to support them. Knowing that there is no insurance, they calculated the value of the boat and decided to provide 80 percent of it to the government. CM announced that checks will be distributed to fire victims today. The district collector and ministers should take immediate steps to ensure that the victims receive compensation.
