CM Jagan to release YSR Asara funds today at Uravakonda 

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy is scheduled to release the benefits of YSR Asara scheme to women self-help groups (SHGs) during a public meeting at Uravakonda today. The  Officials have made arrangements to telecast this program live in all Rythu Bharosa Kendras across the state.

A program is being conducted to benefit 79 lakh Dwakra women in the state. Through the YSR Asara scheme, Rs.19,175.97 crores have been deposited in the bank accounts of Dwakra women in three installments. Latest, Rs.6,394.83 crore will be deposited in the fourth installment from Tuesday.

According to the statistics of Andhra Pradesh Bankers Association (SLBC), as on April 11, 2019, when the polling of the last assembly elections took place, the government says that there are 78,94,169 Dwakra women in the state who have loans of Rs 25,570.80 crore from savings societies.

The YS Jagan government has already deposited Rs 19,175.97 crores in the accounts of the respective women in three installments through the YSR Asara scheme. And from Tuesday, the remaining Rs 6,394.83 crore will be directly deposited in their accounts as the fourth installment. As per the final list of SLBC by 2019 elections in four phases. It is said that the promise of paying off the debt of Rs 25,571 crores will be fulfilled.

With the YSR Asara benefit provided today, the benefit provided directly through DBT (Direct Cash Transfer) in this 56 month period will cross Rs 2.50 lakh crores.
