However, the Cyberabad police have not yet given permission for the event. However, tickets are being sold through Book My Show. Chief Minister Revanth Reddy expressed anger over this.
Speaking in the meeting of Collectors and SPs, CM Revanth Reddy questioned who gave permission for the event. He asked how they started bookings without any permission. With this, the Cyberabad Police officials summoned the representatives of Book My Show and gave a warning. The police officals warned that legal action will be taken if the limit is exceeded. Sunburn is a massively orchestrated music festival and these events are organized in many states. The alcohol is allowed in these celebrations.
The sources say that Revanth Reddy expressed concern over the apparent lack of official approval for the sun burn event and highlighted that Book My Show had not obtained any necessary permission from government to sell tickets for the event.
Revanth Reddy specifically pointed out that there was no authorization for individuals under the age of 18 to attend, and selling the liquor to minors is strictly prohibited.
