CM Revanth Reddy  to meet Union ministers today, seek central funds

Telangana CM Revanth Reddy’s visit to Delhi will continue. Revanth Reddy, who went to nation capital along with Deputy CM Bhatti Vikramarka and Minister Sridhar Babu, will meet with several Union Ministers today. CM Revanth will meet Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman, Road Transport Minister Nitin Gadkari, Urban Development Minister Hardeep  Singh Puri and Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav. As part of the ministries, development works and pending issues will be brought to the attention of the Union Ministers.

The government, which has already introduced the Otan account budget, is focusing on hunting for funds. As part of this, CM Revanth Reddy will ask Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman to resolve pending issues for the state. About 1400 crores due from the Center for backward districts is pending. Revanth Reddy will ask Nirmala Sitharaman to release these immediately. Revanth Reddy will meet Nitin Gadkari at 2 pm. He will discuss development issues including state, national highways and regional ring road with the Union Minister.

The reports are coming that Revanth Reddy, Bhatti Vikramarkalu will meet with AICC President Mallikarjuna Kharge, KC Venugopal in the Delhi tour. Selection of Lok Sabha candidates, filling of nominated posts and cabinet expansion will be discussed with them. Similarly, those who are newly joining the party have the opportunity to discuss with the high command about the ticket guarantees in the parliamentary elections.
