The Congress party has focused on protecting the MLAs who are expected to win (exit poll predictions). As soon as the results of the Telangana elections are announced, the MLAs of their party are expected to be shifted to another region. The party is making arrangements to move the winning MLAs to another city besides Bangalore.
TPCC President Revanth Reddy is confident that Congress’s victory in the Telangana Assembly elections is certain. The leaders believe that the MLAs should be shifted to other areas as soon as the counting is over on Sunday. Before forming the government, care will be taken to ensure that the MLAs do not jump to other parties.
Congress party is limited to less than 70 seats but it is being spread that the MLAs will be shifted to Bangalore and kept until the government is formed. The exit poll results show that the Congress party has a high chance of winning, but there is only a slight difference in the number of candidates who will win between the major parties. At least 60 seats must be won to form the government in Telangana.
Congress sources say that arrangements were made to shift them to undisclosed areas as soon as they received the certificates from the ARVs on Sunday. It is said that they will be transferred directly to Bangalore from there. As the Congress government in Karnataka, the MLAs who won in Telangana are expected to be safe in that state.
